Collaboration, consultation, and ongoing dialogue with stakeholders, advisory groups, and community organizations inform what we do and how we do it. OCWI engages in three key activities.
Research and Innovation
We identify, conduct, and fund research projects, pilots, and demonstrations to develop innovative approaches and practices for workforce development.
Knowledge Transfer and Exchange
We translate research results and are a source of up-to-date information for employers, employment and training service providers, policy-makers, and other interested groups and individuals.
Capacity Building and Training
We provide knowledge and training to implement evidence-informed approaches in delivery of employment and training programs or to create a case for an innovative practice.
